What is a Practice Framework?
- A practice framework is the foundation upon which your services are built; it tells the community and ultimately the world, who you are as an organization and how you intend to make a difference in the community.
- Established on traditional ways of knowing and being, incorporating your ancestors’ wisdom, values and beliefs, your framework will define the way you want your workers to show up in practice. In its simplest terms, the framework is the foundation upon which rests your policies, practices, ethics, mandates and case management protocol; it is the thing that breathes life into your practice ensuring the best possible outcomes for your most valued treasure; your children!
Key Topics Discussed:
- What is a practice framework and why is it important?
- How did Donna and her colleagues approach this work?
- What have they learned and what advice would they give to other nations?
The presentation was followed by question-and-answer discussions.
Whether you are responsible for researching the path your Nation could take to have their own Child and Family Laws, or you are simply interested in expanding your knowledge and understanding of what the initial steps of the journey could look like, this webinar offers valuable learning.
