This will include: 1) Responding to the Client Concern Resolution Process (CCRP). 2) Assists the Director of Integrated Practice & Operations (Guardianship, Resources & QA) with ensuring that complaints and administrative reviews are in accordance with established policies and procedures under the CCRP and relevant legislation. The Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) is seeking a permanent, full-time Policy Analyst to support the work of our organization and assist in carrying out the mandate as directed by UBCIC’s member Nations. Reporting to the Policy Director, the successful candidate will work on a variety of files, conduct policy research, and develop written documents. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience working to advance Indigenous Title and Rights and working with First Nations communities, and providing technical support to political leadership, as well as contributing to and carrying out operations for a busy organization. Reporting to the Collaborative Practice Team Leader, the Collaborative Practice Coordinator works collaboratively in a neutral role with the social worker, immediate and extended family (kinship), community members and other supports identified by family to develop a plan of care to address child safety concerns.
