NICFS announces Sherrie Haldane as new Executive Director
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we introduce you to NIFCS’ new Executive Director, Sherrie Haldane as of September 5, 2023. Sherrie comes with a wealth of experience and a proven track record in team leading Guardianship, Resources and Child Protection social workers at NIFCS over the past few years, Sherrie also sat on the NIFCS board in the past and served as a Council member for the Lax Kw’alaams Band for many years. Sherrie is poised to lead the agency into an exciting chapter of growth and innovation.
Sherrie brings a strong background in working with different levels of Leadership, skills in negotiation and communication and she comes with a Masters level education in social work, which will undoubtedly bolster our organization’s capabilities and contribute to our shared success. Sherrie believes in the organization’s mission, vision and core values and we believe that her leadership will help us achieve new heights in our mission to promote Healthy Children, Healthy Families and Healthy Communities.
As we welcome Sherrie to our team, we are confident that her vision, dedication, and collaborative spirit will strengthen our existing partnerships and create opportunities for new ones. We are excited about the fresh perspectives and insights Sherrie will bring to our organization.
